Can I switch my VPS to a different type of VPS/VDS

Yes, it is possible to switch your VPS to a different type (different storage type / a VDS).

To do this, you will have to create a low priority ticket telling us which VPS you want changed into which plan. We will then get back to you with what exactly has to be done and when we will do the migration + upgrade.

Things to keep in mind before requesting:

  • We cannot shrink your disk space, as KVM does not allow us to shrink VPS's.
  • Your VPS will have to be live migrated to the new platform
  • Depending on the price difference, an invoice might be generated.
  • These requests will be processed during our normal office hours.
  • Our office times are 9:00 to 17:30 Amsterdam time.
