(Re)installing your VPS is very easy, and needs to be done through either our Client Area or VPS Panel.
For VPS's ordered before 2020 you'll need to log in into the VPS Panel to manage/install your VPS. These legacy VPS services cannot be managed through our client area.
(re)Install instructions through our Client Area:
Using one of our OS templates:
1) Navigate to your "My Services" page
2) Select the VPS you like to manage. Within 5 seconds, all the details of your VPS will get displayed.
3) Navigate to the "Install" tab
4) Select the OS you'd like to use and enter/generate the initial root password
5) Click on "Reinstall" and allow up to 2 minutes to complete the reinstallation process. You should be able to ping / SSH to your VPS IP address.
Using an ISO for manual OS installation:
1) Navigate to your "My Services" page
2) Select the VPS you like to manage. Within 5 seconds, all the details of your VPS will get displayed.
3) Navigate to the "Settings" tab
5) Choose the ISO you'd like to use at "Select ISO", and set the CD-ROM as first boot device
6) Click on "Submit"
7) Power off your VPS, and click on the Restart button once it's powered off
8) Allow 5 seconds to have the VPS start. Click on the VNC button, and the console should display the welcome screen of your OS.
9) Perform the installation according to your needs
10) When you've completed installation, please unmount the ISO again and reboot your VPS. This is an import step to ensure there won't be any boot issues in the future.
Optional; by accessing our VPS Panel, you are able to upload a custom ISO.
You can switch easily to our VPS Panel by clicking on the "End user Panel" button being displayed on the details page of your VPS service.
Network settings:
We recommend setting the IP details static in your network config. When using an OS template from us, you can skip this.
IPv4 details:
Gateway: XXX.XXX.XXX.1
Netmask: 255.255.255.0
* Where "XXX" are the first 3 parts of your primary IPv4 address.
* An exception to this are VPS's hosted within the 5.2.65.x range. If you have a VPS with an IP address from this block; use "5.2.65.129" as gateway, together with "255.255.255.128" as netmask.
