How do I use my assigned IPv6 subnet?

All VPSes will get a /64 IPv6 subnet assigned.
During the installation, one IPv6 address will be created, and assigned.
Any additional IPv6 addresses will have to be created and configured via the VPS Panel or our Client Area at "Manage IPv6 subnets" which you can find under the "Settings" tab of your VPS service.

Note:
If you have a VPS service ordered before 2020, you'll need to login into the VPS Panel to manage your IPv6 subnet.

At the "Manage IPv6 subnets" section under the "Settings" tab, you'll have an option to create additional IP addresses.
After saving, reboot your VPS through the reboot button in either or Client Area of VPS Panel, and the IPv6 addresses should be configured automatically with most Linux distros.

In case you need to configure the IPv6 address manually you can use the following example to determine the IPv6 gateway for your VPS:
1) Say you have subnet "2a04:52c0:101:1234::/64" assigned. Your gateway is one level up, thus would be "2a04:52c0:101::1"
2) Say you have subnet "2a04:52c0:125:9876::/64" assigned. Your gateway is one level up, thus would be "2a04:52c0:125::1"

Since the assigned /64 subnet is part of a larger subnet, you may in some cases need to specify a /48 netmask instead of /64 or setup a custom route to the IPv6 gateway of your VPS.
If you experience issues reaching the IPv6 gateway, please set the /48 netmask and reboot. This should not be required for most installations.
