However, the storage space used by your emails does count toward the total storage limit of your hosting package.
With POP3, emails are downloaded and stored on your device (such as your computer). The emails are not stored on our servers. This means that if your device is damaged or, for example, stolen, your emails may be permanently lost. However, this does save space in your hosting package.
