Why do I need to enter a hostname during the order process?

The hostname you need to enter during the ordering process is only used as an identifier of your service you're ordering. So we don't register any domains that you're entering in this field.

In the hostname field you can enter;
- A FQDN (fully quaified domain name)
- A single word, with at least 4 characters and may not include underscores or special characters like '[email protected]#$%^&()"
